At National Geographic Learning we are committed to improving our impact on the world around us and aligning our content with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) . As an educational publisher we have as our driver ‘Quality Education' (SDG4) and, additionally, through our materials we aim to build the skills and knowledge for our students to become active contributors to the solutions to some of our planet's biggest challenges. By showcasing our National Geographic Explorers we expose our students to critical research and thinking around multiple SDGs (Climate Action, Life Below Water, Responsible Production and Consumption amongst others) and help them understand critical interdependencies. Through our carefully authored activities we also promote key skills for sustainability – communication, problem solving and collaboration.
