KATHERINE STANNETT
Katherine Stannett is based in West Sussex, England and is an author with over twenty years of experience in editing, writing and developing materials to teach English. She specialises in writing for children and teenagers at all levels and is particularly interested in the development of 21st century skills. She is an author of National Geographic Learning’s New Close-up, Look, a seven-level series for young learners of English, and Impact, a five-level series for teenage learners of English.
DR. IMOGEN NAPPER
Imogen is a Post Doctoral Researcher at The University of Plymouth. Her research investigates the sources of plastic pollution into the environment. In 2018, Imogen became a National Geographic Explorer and Sky Ocean Rescue Scholar. This funded her ongoing research to investigate different inventions which aim to capture fibres in the washing machine cycle, to stop them potentially entering the environment.
Currently, Imogen is working as an expedition scientist with National Geographic on the ‘Sea to Source’ expedition investigating plastic pollution in the River Ganges.
EFTYCHIS KANTARAKIS
Eftychis Kantarakis is an ELT teacher and teacher trainer working for National Geographic Learning. He has trained teachers in many countries in the Middle East and has regularly presented at International Conference in Europe. He is a former TESOL Greece vice-chair and Newsletter Editor.
